Wellness is the state of being well. I believe that the state of being well happens when the mind, the body, and the spirit are all in a state of good health. If one is off, then they are usually all off. There are many things that can affect each area such as stress of life. Life happens and often it isn't on our timing and definitely isn't convenient. Self care can help with that.
Self care is knowing who you are as well as your limits and slowing down when you feel that you have reached your limits. There are many things that you can do for self care such as yoga, meditation, exercise, eat right, take a much needed vacation, get your hair done or maybe your nails...The list is endless and what makes you feel good about yourself is likely different from what makes someone else feel good about themselves.
Find that thing that makes you feel good and start making it routine!
